A five-day series of urban design workshops (interactive public meetings with lots of talking and drawing) will put residents and professionals at the same table, working together to identify what the Form Based Code should contain. All sessions are in 805 Central Avenue, Downtown (behind the Cathedral and City Hall).  Limited surface lot parking is available behind the building, street and garage parking is nearby.  Stay tuned to the Plan Build Live blog  for more details.
 
Here's the schedule of events as it currently stands:  
Saturday, April 28:  Opening Session: "Form Based Code: A New Approach to Building Community Character."  45 minute orientation at 10 AM, repeated at 2 PM.  Open Design Studio 10 AM to 7 PM.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and participate at any time.
Sunday, April 29: Open Design Studio 10 AM to 7 PM.  Everyone welcome to come and participate at any time.
Monday, April 30: Open Design Studio 10 AM to 7 PM.  Everyone welcome to come and participate at any time. Brown Bag Lunch presentation on Complete Streets at 12 PM.  Public Open House on results to date at 6 PM.
Tuesday, May 1: Open Design Studio 10 AM to 7 PM.  Everyone welcome to come and participate at any time. Brown Bag Lunch presentation on Urban Retail at 12 PM. 
Wednesday, May 2:  Design Studio closed to the public for final preparations.  Brown Bag Lunch presentation on Economics at 12 PM.  Final presentation of urban design workshop results at 6:00 PM.
